My cat, who is coming up on 10 years of age, is a very active and social cat. He is a major attention whore. As I’ve taken up full time work and college, he seems to be very unhappy with how I can’t lye down with him all the time. Unsure if this is behavioural, or if I should make a vet appointment. But he’s been recently peeing by my bedroom door with no warning that he wants to be let out, as he usually has done in the past. I have been noticing I have been cleaning up more throw up then usual as well. But his personality // character remands the same. My cat, does have separation anxiety so when I am gone for long durations of the day he lounges in my bed all day and waits for me to return. His separation anxiety is so bad, I can’t even have a shower for more than 10 min with out him hanging out in the bathroom with me. I would appreciate suggestions/ answers as to why he’s recently not been as communicative when needing to be let out of my bedroom to go to his litter box & why he’s throwing up more often, as his diet hasn’t changed. Aside of those trades he’s a very healthy cat. So I’m a little confused as to why this is happening.
