My puppy is 16 weeks old, she’s with my since she was 8. So half her life she spent with me. She’s a jack Russell terrier. I love her, take good care of her. She’s with me a lot because I work from home, she’s never alone more than 4 hours. We go for long walks and play a lot every day. She gets the best food, best toys, she’s very well taken care of and loved deeply. The sad thing is she doesn’t give anything back in return. She doesn’t greet me when I’m back, she doesn’t come when I call. Doesn’t cuddle with me or give me kisses. She’s kind and friendliness with strangers but a stranger to me. She runs away when I try to get to her and pulls away when I try to pet her. Her behaviour is breaking my heart. Will this ever change? Has anyone experienced late bonding with a puppy?
