Recently at the start of August we noticed our hamster had some blood coming out of her lower bottom area. I took her out to the vet in our state and the people there said she just had a cut. About a week later the bleeding stopped! Last monday we noticed that the bleeding started to go again, we took her back to the same, previous vet and they did an X-RAY and an ULTRASOUND on her. The doctor said "There could be something on her right side that the ULTRASOUND showed, but I'm not sure". We brought her home with some medicine to treat a possible uti, and the vet said they could try out and explore in surgery, but there were low chances of her making it through that since she was so small (not for a hamster, she's fat) and risky because of her age, probably because she will not be that strong though. We noticed in the past couple days she seemed stiff and out of it. She hunches up a lot and never really wakes up to come out. She still bleeds and never drinks water. She is losing blood but she is trying to be strong. It's coming out of near where she pees, if you know what to do and have the will to offer advice we can send you a picture of her. Thanks, hopefully you can help.
