I'm thinking about getting a pet since I live by myself and I need something to take care of. My lease doesn't allow for dogs and I'm mildly allergic to cats, but pretty much anything else is fair game. I've had guinea pigs, parakeets, turtles and snakes growing up, so I know how to handle most critters, but I wanted to hear what other would recommend. Thanks!
