I brought in some homeless kitten a few months ago, and she STILL dodges my attempts to pet her, she doesn't like to stay in my bed (but she stays in my sisters bed), she only approaches me when I have food, doesn't rub herself on me etc.
I would have thought after almost 4 months, she would be more affectionate, but she still treats me strictly as a food source. It's been a long time since I've had a cat, but even I remember that cats are generally more affectionate than this.
Hell, I recently came across a friend's cat, and the cat actually butted her head into my hand so I could pet her, and she enjoyed it as well. This made me wonder what's wrong with my cat.
