There is this kitten that entered my home last night. Today morning i gave it some food and water (I checked what cats can eat and what not). I have seen the cat multiple times now but it is very shy. It hides the instant i see it. It meows frequently but when I stand near it (i can't see it), it starts meowing faster. What does this indicate? Should i leave it alone or try to socialize with it? It is hiding under my car. P.S. I have never had a pet before.
