Cat loves me but is terrified of fiance

To clarify, we adopted our cat--let's call him Stripes--together about 1 year ago when he was 8 weeks old, so it's not like fiance ("Mike"; name's changed) is a stranger. I was at home without a job after the pandemic started, so I had a lot of free time and Stripes saw a lot more of me than Mike. While he's very attached to me and is close with our other cat; he's afraid of new people, the outdoors (strictly an inside cat), basically everything. He's generally very skittish. And he's terrified of Mike for no discernable reason. There has never been any kind of mistreatment. Our other cat adores Mike, and Mike has tried to get Stripes to connect with him. He's just as involved in feeding and general care as I am. He tries to pet him, play with him. But despite that, Stripes will literally run to the point of crashing into things and drifting into walls to avoid Mike. It's really bizarre. Stripes refuses to get close to Mike, to the point that he will sit outside whatever room he & I are in and meow for my attention, then lead me into another room so I can pet him while far away from Mike.

Is this something that we should look into treating with anti-anxiety meds? Or is there behavioral therapy, etc. that can help a problem this extreme?
