I'm hoping 1) this can be a good place to ask advice for this and 2) someone can help guide me here.
I live entirely on my own which means I get a bit lonely and would love a pet to come home to but I dont know what kind of pet to get. I feel bad because I work 45 hours a week equalling to 9 hours a day. Is that too much time away for a pet? Or are their pets out there that dont mind the time away but when I'm home will be affectionate and cuddly? Birds and fish are not what I had in mind as fish dont do much and birds are loud and obnoxious. Id love a dog or a cat but I'm worried that I dont have enough time for them(also slightly allergic to cats but its not that bad)
