Hello, sorry if this is not the right place for this post but I'm in a bit of a conundrum and I need some advice. I adopted two dogs with me now ex-girlfriend about 8 months ago and now she's trying to take one of them to an unfit living situation. I'm worried about providing the best life for my dogs and want to cover myself if she wont agree to leave both dogs with me. She was the applicant on the adoption forms but if I get them registered under my name will they legal be my property?
