I will be taking my female cat to the vet as soon as I can, anyways, just in case, don't worry -
But I am still wondering how I can properly deal with this without possibly harming my cat. I've been researching all day, watching videos, reading articles, but I am still worried I could hurt her. I've heard many owners say all you need is a warm towel/paper towels/cloths, or baby wipes. I've also read you can use cat shampoo/fragrance free dawn soap/baby shampoo. I've also read that after slowly wiping the debris and crap away, you have to use a wide tooth comb or brush to slowly brush the mat out, or use a small electric clipper to carefully shave it off. I've been trying to slowly clean it out. but i'm worried as it's basically right near her vulva, although it is pretty small. There isn't really much advice online on how to deal with this problem, or at least not enough advice that is in depth enough for me to really trust it, but reddit has never let me down this far, so fingers crossed.
My cat is really sweet and gentle and patient so she doesn't mind being groomed too much, but I just need some help - I'm worried she could get a UTI. Maybe I'm just over thinking all over this.Thank you in advance <3
