Two months ago my cat was very sick, he stopped eating, drinking and even going to the litter box so we called the vet and took him there, after a long series of exams the vet told us that our cat had an obstruction on the urinary tract but there was nothing wrong with him, not a infection, not stones blocking it, it was stress and anxiety that caused the sickness so we paid everything to keep him alive and the boy managed to pull it through but our vet told us that if he ever got sick like that again he would probably be never 100% healthy again and in suffering.
1 week ago he got sick again, apparently with a infection this time since he had blood on the urine, started urinating outside of the litter box and is straining to urinate as well, so we call the vet again and he gave us some antibiotic and some other medicine to calm the pain (anti-inflammatory I think) and said that in 48 hours he should be a bit better. It has passed almost 4 days and he's even getting worse and I want to take him to the vet to treat him and save him but we don't have any money since there's a lot of financial problems in my family right now but I don't want him to suffer to death here and the only thing that crosses my mind is to euthanize him because I don't want him to suffer anymore and have a painless death.
I seriously don't know what to do and we don't have the money to treat him again but I don't want my boy to die in pain as well.
