The area where I feed my cats always gets slugs when the weather is right and usually I just pick them up and toss them into the backyard but I also kind of like to watch them and have become particularly attached to one whom I have named 'Slug Goodman'.
If I let the slugs eat the cat food will it harm them? I know they're attracted to it and will eat it but is it harmful or deadly? And if my cats ever decide to do the one thing they were domesticated for (eating 'pests') will it harm the cats? Thanks.
