A friend of a friend asked if I could housesit for her cat overnight for 7-8 days, water all backyard and front yard plants, take in mail, change litter box twice a day, etc...
I expressed interest and how much I love animals and cats in particular and was happy to do the job, but when she came back she just said, "Thank you, you are amazing!" And didn't pay me anything...and she is a pretty well off older woman and I'm a younger poorer person...
How much do you think would be reasonable for me to charge in the future?
And what would be a good way for me to approach her about this situation? This is so uncomfortable and awkward. 😢😥
