My wife and I live in a condo on the 10th story, so it does get hot on hotter days, but nothing unbearable. We never feel the need to turn the A/C on until it's like 32C+ / feels like 36C+ (which would be 90F / feels like 97F). To be honest neither of us like A/C that much.
Today is fairly hot, but not brutal. It's 30C / feels like 33C (86F / feels like 91F), so our A/C wasn't on. I noticed that our cat had a bit of an erratic behavior. He was not sleeping at all, just walking around aimlessly, meowing a bit, lying down at random spots on the floor, then get up and walk around again. So I tried to turn on the A/C, and the moment I did, he jumped on the couch and fell asleep.
Clearly, he isn't dealing with the heat very well.
Any cat owners that have had similar issues with their cats? What is the alternative other than having A/C on?
