I found my girl a few years ago, abandoned on the side of the road with a whole litter of kittens. It was obvious they were socialized. And when we took them all home and started feeding them she went to town cuddling on my face. She’s cuddled me like that ever since.
She’s such a good cuddler. I mean face rubs, kneading, lil kitty hugs. She won’t stay still.
Now, she drools. It’s happy drooling, I think, as she doesn’t drool unless she’s cuddling with me.
Like, yeah, ew, but I can just lay a towel or something down, right?
But what about my face?
This old girl will start rubbing all over my face and then BOOM: drool, all over my face. I CANNOT help but freak out and make her stop and I feel SO BAD because I do wanna cuddle. Today she was cuddling and I was dodging her getting my face AND THEN SHE SHAKES HER HEAD LIKE A DOG AND THE DROOL GETS EVERYWHERE AND OMG EWWW.
And man, idk what it is about cat drool compared to dog drool. The consistency is different in a sense that it makes me gag. Dog drool is super fricken gross don’t get me wrong, but cat drool on my face dripping as fast as water does just ugh. I can’t stop myself from gagging. I cannot stomach it. If she would just sit still and not rub drool all over every inch she could reach and beyond, I would be able to adapt, but omg, it’s everywhere. What do I do?
