I moved into a duplex over a year ago and my 13 y.o. Betsy was in complete bliss. It was her territory and she was outside constantly.
Months later a different tenant moved in and she has an 8 y.o., Max. He’s constantly outside and when he wants out she basically needs to oblige as she lives in a bachelor and can’t escape his begging.
Max seems like he’s trying to be on okay terms with Betsy, but she’s furious. The second he turns around, she goes for him. Things seemed to be getting better, but the other day she went for him and they had quite the tussle. She won’t give up the fight and that really worries me.
Obviously I’ve been keeping her in lately, but her quality of life is really decreasing. Meanwhile she has to watch Max trotting around her yard constantly.
Any advice?
