So recently, my pets have not been eating their food whenever it's time for their lunch. I inspected them and they don't seem to be sick or anything, even consulting with my family and searching their condition. I gave them their favorite meal which was canned sardines with tomato sauce and I was recently warned by both my sister and my mother that they should not be eating tomato sauce, I took their advice and looked for something else to feed them. I tried feeding them canned sausage and meatloaf next but they still wouldn't budge, especially my 1 year old female dog, who has not being eating any food for 2 days. I tried looking things up on google and found some tips and a routine that did help for some time, but then they went back and refused to eat any food. My 1-year old male dog is eating a somewhat decent amount but still refuses to eat the usual amount we fed him before. I tried hand-feeding them which did convince my male dog to eat, but my female dog is still too stubborn to eat. I tried feeding them dog food and treats to help relieve some of their hunger but it's still not enough. Lastly I tried cooking homemade dog food, with a combination of stripped chicken, stripped vegetables and rice, I served it to them, my male dog was once again compliant and my female dog was still too stubborn. My dogs refuse to eat the proper amount we gave them before and just search somewhere else. Me and my family are becoming increasingly worried about their lack of eating. Is there anything I can do to help them?
