My sweet family and childhood dog of 16 years is being put to rest tomorrow morning and I can’t sleep because of sadness and dread. My heart is broken.

This is my first post on this sub, but I figured there would be people on here that know how I’m feeling. This is my first experience with losing a significant pet. I knew the day would come and I knew it would be very hard, but that doesn’t stop it from hitting me like a wall. I’ve been crying all day and will be a mess in the morning. She lived a full and happy life, and she will be with her entire family in the comfort of her own home when she goes. ❤️
