Should I continue feeding the feral cats at the park?

Hello everyone. I just want to get your suggestions or opinions regarding my situation.

For 5 months, I have been regularly feeding the feral cats at the park near my house. I have been feeding a total of three cats everyday. However, I found out recently that I should not feed feral cats because it just puts their lives in more danger. Articles I have read say that it makes them want to breed more and procreate at an uncontrollable rate which may lead to overpopulation, disease outbreaks, etc.

While I agree to these effects, I would say that I have built strong relationships with the cats. It would definitely make me sad if I just stop feeding them all of a sudden. I am also sure that if I visit them again, they will endlessly beg me for food.

Another thing is, I just feed these cats because I just want to provide for them and be generous. However, I cannot afford to fully take responsibility of caring for these cats; things like providing them vaccines, vitamins and balanced meals at a regular basis.

So what do you think would be the best thing I could do?
