So we have 6 cats (they are well taken care of and the house doesn’t stink). I love them all unconditionally, I wouldn’t want to separate them. They love each other, 5 of them have lived here since birth. One of the cats (his name is baby lol) is VERY attached to me. I’ll admit, I’m also very attached to him. I am the only human in the house he likes. He mainly stays in my room, and when I’m not in my room, he’ll loudly yell for me. If he comes downstairs, he’ll find me and ‘talk’ to me and rub on my legs. His favorite thing to do is lay in bed with me lol he’ll yell and sort of guide me to the bed to lay with him. He sits/lays on my chest every night, and he lays at the end of my bed and sleeps with me every night. Anyway, we are very close lol. I cannot imagine living without him. I’ve stayed in a hotel many times this year due to work (I don’t have to do that anymore) and I hated that the weight of my cat wasn’t by my feet. Idk the thought of leaving him behind makes me feel like I’m abandoning him, but I know it’ll make me depressed and lonely to not have my pet when I go. I once went on a 10 vacation and it stressed him out so bad, he had kissed chunks of hair around the house. Would I be wrong to separate the him from the cats he’s known since birth (not littermates)? He’d go from multi cat household to single cat and idk how he would handle it especially if I’m working. Help?
