My cat has been acting very strange this morning. He was layinh under the radiator by the kitchen (he never does that). He also peed under the TV stand (he never ever does that, he does his business outside ALWAYS). He then laid under the table and then I picked him up and he decided to go back under there. Yesterday I caught him eating weeds in the garden. Also, my cat is an outdoor cat. No it isn't cruel. I find it cruel to keep a cat inside and never let it out. I always leave a door open for my cat to go in and out as he pleases however his food is by the door and yesterday there was some food under the stand where the kettle is in a pot and it was covered in maggots. I did not know it was there until then because it was right under the standb(must have been pushed under there). Maggots have been in the food that he goes to eat daily. Should I cover it up and then uncover it when he is hungry? He doen't have a meal time he just eats whenever.My grandma leaves cat food and meat out in the garden for my cat and other cats too which pisses me off because many of times there have been maggots all over the food and the majority of the time flies are all over it. So she has been told not to leave food out the garden. My cat is now asleep on my lap as I will not let him out of my sight. His heart is beating quite fast and I was worried he might be over heating so i rubbed an ice cube over his fur to cool him down.
