Am I being too obsessive about my cat's vaccination?

I have a rescue kitten that's about 4-5 months old.

Today, I went to a nearby vet to get him vaccinated. When the vet was about to inject my cat with the 4in1 cat vaccine, he did not set my cat down & instead had his assistant carry him as he injected him around his neck.

The thing is, I did not see the actual injection happen, as they turned around to give my cat the shot. My cat did not make any noise, which was unusual as he's usually fussy when it comes to needles or going to the vet in general.

When they returned my cat, there was no visible puncture wound (? Idk what it's called) around the injection site. I know this sounds weird but, I'm kinda skeptic if the vet really did injected my cat. Also because the vet clinic I went to is not very high end.

More context: I'm poor. I spent a chunk of my month's savings for my cat's food & medical expenses. I can't afford another $26 core cat vaccine this month. I'd rather not be scammed. I really do love my cat, and if I had thousands or millions of dollars, I would use it all to give my cat the best vet service. But I don't--which is why I feel anxious about my cat being vaccinated. There is a small feline panleukopenia outbreak in my region. I feel extremely afraid that my cat might get it.

Is it normal for cat's injection site to not show any signs of having been injected? Am i just being neurotic & the vet really did inject my cat with the right vaccine? Tia.
