I came home from work, let the dogs out (2 mutts. 1 Australian Shepard mix and my chihuahua mix). Got ready for bed. Th kitten was fine when I first came home, I noticed her an hour later laying in a puddle of blood. I rushed her to the emergency vet but she passed on the way there. I know she’s just a dog, and they both enjoy chasing rabbits and playing fetch but neither ever but st the kitten or growled of anything. My dog had dried blood on her paw but no other proof. She’s always been less friendly than the other dog, s very 1 person dog. (Growls and shies away from guests, skittish) but now I look at her and can’t help but think what kind of monster kills a kitten. I’ve had her for 5 years, I rescued her from a kill shelter. I doubt she’d ever be adopted from someone else. She was my whole world not even a week ago and now I get quesy snd upset being in the same room as her. I don’t know what to do. I shouldn’t be mad at a dog being a dog and I’ve had previous dogs kill birds or squirrels and it not bother me.
