i needed to go to australia for what was supposed to be 3 months, which has now turned into 6. which has now turned into staying here permanently. we want to get them over here, which is obviously going to take even longer, and im less worried for my dogs, but im scared my cat won’t remember me. because of not seeing me for probably around a year at that point, and my smell and the house being completely different. ive taken care of him for 5 years, since we rescued him at 3 weeks old. i dont know what i’d do if he didnt recognize me, he’s my favourite being in the whole entire world
