My 9 week old puppy has been coughing all day producing some substances.
She fell in the pool last night for a second before I grabbed her so I figured her coughing today was maybe just some left over snorted water, but it's been all day.
Shes still eating, affectionate, playing, pooping solid, and peeing. She is a bit more tired than usual, but it's very hot and we went on a longer walk this evening.
I cant see anything in her mouth or throat, her breathing is fine, no frothing, swallowing, whining, gagging.
Could it just be still water coming out? Or is something maybe lodged in her throat?
I'm giving her until tomorrow to improve then I'll take her to the vet. Shes just so totally fine other than the cough that I dont want to overreact.
