I have an indoor cat from January - so like 8 months now. She is little under 1 year old (born in Sep). She is not a cuddler..... Since I got her I have trouble with sleeping, because every damn night she wakes me up at around 4 o´clock. She starts biting my nose, my fingers or foot. So it is really not possible to have a normal 8 hour sleep or at least to continue sleeping. Because of that I also decided to sterillize/spay her - despite the fact that she is only an indoor cat and the only one. It didn´t help at all. I had serious sleep deprivation in June.
I have small apartment - around 430 sq feet, I only have bathroom with wc, living room with kitchen and seperate bedroom. When it is time for sleeping I always carry her to bedroom and shut the door, otherwise she doesn´t calm down. Despite that she is locked in bedroom with me, she still goes crazy around the room from like half an hour to 1hour (sometimes 1h30). But after that she finally calms down and goes to sleep.
But I really tried everything when she wakes me up at around 4 o´clock. I tried and gave her food. She doesn´t want to cuddle. I tried and PLAY WITH HER in the middle of the night - only then she is happy (but I just can´t do that every night...I have a job). I tried and lock her out of the bedroom in living room, but she starts meowing really loud - and I have neighbours so I can´t leave her like that.
It also didn´t help that on weekend, when I had time for whole day, I played with her and really spend whole day with her not letting her to get much sleep or nap around.
I just don´t know what can I do with her.
