We recently noticed my cat was crying when he pooped so we took him to the vet and found out yesterday he has stomach cancer. The vet prescribed him steroids and said he probably has a couple months left, but she’s seen cats with this live over a year. I wish there was something more we could do for him but I just want him to be happy and comfortable during the time he has left.
I’m a complete wreck. I’ve had him since I was 9 years old, we grew up together, and he’s my best friend. I just can’t imagine my life without him. It would be nice to hear about other peoples experience with this/how they coped with the loss. I don’t know how I’m going to get through this.
