Introduction of a new kitten after loss of another?

So my roommate and I are on the fence here. We recently came into two MAYBE five week old kittens. We were going to only get one when they were old enough, but Ling story short the owner was a jerk who was sick of them and going to dump them somewhere. So we ran to grab the one we were going to take, but one kitten of the litter was left unaccounted for so I opted to take him. Now, unfortunately, we just lost "Runt" last name(he was the runt). We tried our best and kept them fed and playing but he was simply too young and small to suddenly be ripped from his mother. The other isn't doing too hot now, but MUCH better as of today. He is now eating, using the litter box, interested in the other animals again, and responding to his surroundings.

So onto the current "problem", roommates mom wants to get us a new kitten(one of appropriate age this time). I'm not sure if that's a good idea for the other kitten or not. He is doing better certainly and loves other animals(he desperately wants my adult cat to just love him already lol and loves my dog). Should I put my foot down and say wait or go for it?
