A cat appreciation post for my good boy :))
With age my mom’s been getting more forgetful, especially while cooking. She has a tendency to leave the stove on, go off to do other things and forget about what she was cooking. I adopted my cat from the shelter, and he’s been a major help to my mom. The other day she left the stove on and picked up a call, which caused her to forget what she had been doing. After a few minutes, my cat went up to her and started then meowing like crazy, which successfully got her attention since he’s usually so quiet. She then remembered that she left the stove on, so she went to go turn it off. My cat then stopped meowing once she did that. I wonder if he smelled the gas and that’s why he meowed so much. This happened twice already, and I cannot be more grateful to my cat for helping my mom. A good chonkster:))
