My dog has been nibbling and scratching himself so much recently. The other night I woke up at 3am because he was scratching for an hour. I gave him a long bath yesterday with diluted apple cider vinegar, rubbing shampoo thoroughly through his coat, and found out he had a couple fleas on him. I made sure to get everywhere on his body until literally every inch of his coat was checked. After drying right after his bath he seemed much better, more comfortable and wasn’t scratching almost at all. But starting the middle of the night he started scratching a little more and this morning i noticed he’s nibbling again too. Not nearly as much as yesterday but i expected his scratching to be gone. Why is he still scratching? and what should I do?
