Hello everyone,
For a while now I've wanted to get a pet cat and I've recently graduated uni and I'm starting a new job in sept so I have the funds and the time to care for one. The only problem is, is that the job requires field work and travel which is at most 2 months at a time and could happen 2 times a year. It really depends on the amount of work and since I haven't started working yet I'm not sure. I've talked it over with my parents and they are willing to care for it whenever I'm gone and obviously will have all the stuff that the cat needs. The only problem is that I work 4 hours away from my parents so I'd have the drop her off there. I'm worried that tbe cat would get stressed or anxious and wouldn't adjust with going back and forth between places? Though she would be there for at least a week at a time and would be familiar with both me and my parents. Both our home environments are pretty stress free as well.
