Hi
We have a 6 month puppy, a wonderful and sweet girl. She is extremely affectionate with everybody but she is clearly a "mums girl". Usually I work at home but I have taught her to be ok with short times being without me (in her crate or in the terrace with her 3yo sister) when I am running errands, doing groceries or so.
I am going to go away next week for ten days. She is going to be during the day in the terrace with her sister (who is used to this). They have water, shade and the temperature is fine. They get along great and the older one is used to be without me (or my partner) a few weeks a year. My partner will be there and he will be with them in the early morning and from 16h to bedtime.
I am a bit afraid that she will take it badly since she is so attached to me and it is the first trip since she is at home with us.
Is there anything I can do to make her feel better? I was thinking to leave a dirty old tshirt with her in the crate but besides that I am not sure what else I can do.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
