I recently adopted a kitten (3 months old) and I live in a typical three story house (basement, main floor, upstairs). My parents forced me to keep the litter box in my bedroom (gross I know I hate it) because I guess she’s “too young and little” to find her way to the basement. So now my room reeks of kitty litter no matter how much I change it. I have a box that comes with a lid and I use Arm&Hammer litter. My mom complains about the smell 24/7 even though I tell her it’s her fault for not letting me put it in the basement. Any suggestions on how to limit or conceal the smell better?
