So me and my family have lived in the same house for the past two years. The whole time we've been here we've had the same neighbors to the left of us, and they have a dog named Bruce. Now for about a year and a half he's been great, we give him treats and play with him. Our back yards have connectint gates so we occasionally let him over and played with him and he practically became our dog too.
About a month ago I saw him looking at me through our kitchen window and I got a bacon strip - we buy treats for him ourselves now - and brought it out to him. Unlike every other time I've given him something he didn't gently bite it out of my hand, he growled aggressively and ripped it away. His hair was standing on end and he was growling under his breath at me. At first I thought there was just something wrong with him that day, I was even worried he might have rabies. But later on my mom and dad were out there and he acted the same way as always. I go out thinking he's fine now and he instantly starts barking and growling at me.
It's just with me, he isn't aggressive like this with ANYONE else and I have no idea what has caused him to suddenly get like this. He literally went from happy slobber machine to scary in like a day. Anybody have any ideas?
