Moving indoor/outdoor cat to completely indoors?

Hello! At my house we have four cats and one of them(12yo,F) has anxious behaviors around our youngest one (4yo,F). Whenever the youngest is around, even in the middle of eating, she’ll immediately stop and escape to my room where she practically stays for the rest of the day. She’s lost some weight and doesn’t go outside as much as she used to, so she’s become more indoor than outdoor recently. We’ve both become each other’s emotional support companion in a sense.

That being said, I’ve recently moved out of the house and into an apartment with my roommate, who has a small dog. I do want to bring the old cat with me so she can at least relax more in the apartment and roam around when the dog is kept in my roommate’s room. I’ve read about window perches and pheromone diffusers to keep her relaxed. Are there any tips to make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible?
