My cat has started a new behavior which occurs randomly in the middle of the night. She is scratching the walls randomly and meows loudly in my bedroom. I will give her attention for 5 minutes but she goes back to yowling and rubbing her paws down the wall almost everytime. I make sure she has enough food and water so I'm not sure why she started doing this all of a sudden. She quiets down close to late morning on days I can sleep in but she always wakes me up a few times a night.
