Dog breathing rapidly after spay

On Saturday afternoon, my 12 year old Chihuahua went in for an emergency Spay due to pyometra. The day after recovery she was vomiting, didn’t want anything to eat, and wouldn’t get up from bed, so we took her to vet Monday morning. Turns out she was dehydrated from all the vomiting and had gastritis due to antibiotics that were prescribed. She got IV’s for two days and the vet said she was good to go. He sent us some supplements to help get her appetite going. She’s been doing great, she’s been walking, sitting and doing things she didn’t do the days before she got the IV.

I have noticed that after the surgery she’s been breathing very rapidly. She’s not struggling to breathe but has just been breathing faster than usual. I’m curious as to what it could be. Could it be that she’s lost weight or could it be pain? Have any of you guys experienced any of this or have an idea of what it could be?
