Hello fellow Redditors, I need some advice about a peculiar/ sad situation going on with my parents animals. Thanks in advance!

So this is a bit odd, and tragically sad. My parents dog Moses is 3 years old. He’s been completely healthy and happy dog since they’ve had him. A few days ago he started getting awful seizures. He had 6 today. The odd part is this happened a little less then 3 years ago to their dog Koda. He was a healthy/ happy dog for the first 2 years of his life and all of a sudden started getting seizures. My parents tried putting him on medication the vets offered but nothing worked and they couldn’t afford the Brain scam. Eventually they put him down.

The weird part is before either of these dogs my parents had a dog that lived for almost 19 years! I’m having a hard time to believe that my parents coincidentally had two dogs within 3 years get dogs that have seizures this young. Is there anything that can cause it? I know their neighbor probably 5 years or so installed their own drain in their yard (water gathers and it used to flood pretty bad) that is right next to my parents yard. Which I’m pretty sure is illegal but idk. Could that be back-up and make the water toxic? Could their plot of land be toxic? I told them to talk to the town and they should be able to look at their plot to check it and check their water. I’m at a lost for words with my parents and my mom especially is heartbroken. These dogs are her best friends. I don’t know what to tell her.

Any advice would help. Thanks in advance everyone.

Oh Moses is a Husky/ pit mix. Koda was a fullbread Husky.
