So as title says. Its 6am, I was up late gaming, and was about to go to bed, when this kitten was staring me in the face outside my window. He looked young and cold, otherwise i would be more hesitant. I would guess he looks like he is probably a boy, and is 8-10 months. I went outside to pet him and see if he was ok, since it is freezing rain here. He cuddled right up to me, and he was soaked. I've dried him off, let him inside, back out, then he came back 10 mins later. Soaking wet and cold again. He is now back in my house, and im not sure what to do with him.
I want to make this clear, in no way do i want to take this cat if it has a good home. It would be tricky for me right now, there are already a lot of animals in this house, and even taking a new oet for shots would be difficult. He has no collar, but he is definately familiar with a litter box(he already went and pooped in it) so he had a home at some point. But its freezing rain, really windy and late, if that were my cat, I would want someone tonmake sure he is ok at least.
The downstairs is almost mine entirely, as in no one else comes down here, but me and Nibbler, my current cat. This is the other issue. He takes a bit to get used to other cats, and he sometimes doesnt get along. I could make it work, or at least seperate them. i also want to go to bed right now, but i cant comfortably with the situation.
They are being really loud if i keep them together, and my roommates will be pretty pissed if they arent up already from the noise, im a bit lost at the moment. Suggestions on what the right thing to do here? Im leaning on keeping him in for the night, let him rest safely(i hope lol) and just seperating them until i get up, then letting him back out when I wake up.
TLDR: stray kitten let in at 6 am, i want to sleep but idk what to do.
