I just had my cat to the dr a week ago for not eating. He's down to skin and bones. I know he's old, and he's hurting, but.....
We put him on appetite stimulant and antibiotics and neurontin for pain. He did really good the first few days.
I stopped giving him the app stim because they only gave me so many. He eats a good breakfast, but dinner time it's like he's holding out for something better.
I'll admit, If he won't eat one thing, I'll open up a can or pouch of something else. I can't tell you how much food I've wasted the past month. I can't afford it. I'll try 5 different things before he'll eat. And the next day he won't eat that thing but will eat the 3rd one.
Help?? (His blood work looks excellent for his age, he did have a UTI)
