I've posted about my cat's uncanny understanding of time before, but when it comes to anything on computer screens, she doesn't pay attention. She's turned her head toward my 144hz monitor when hearing a dog bark, but as soon as she looked behind the screen to see it wasn't real, she stopped caring.
However, I was watching a Let's play of a Serious Sam Xbox conversion mod with her on my lap recently, and I looked down at her to find her following along with the fast paced action on the screen. Does anyone have any idea why this garnered her attention in particular? Would it be the amount of yellow in the game's Ancient Egyptian setting?
