I have no idea what to do. It's only been a week and she's become more and more aggressive by the day. I've followed the recommended introductionary steps with my original cat and he's totally cool with her scent now (he won't poof up if he smells her like he originally did. Now he just purrs at the door.) but she's still being aggressive towards him even though he's not in the same room. The very scent of him causes her to hiss and growl like mad. She wants absolutely nothing to do with him and the scent introductionary steps and food and reward association aren't making it better; in fact it's only gotten worse. Not to mention she recently attacked my boyfriend and shredded up his hand because of what I can only assume is him smelling like our other cat. Ever since she's growled at him whenever she sees him. We share a bedroom and she CONSTANTLY growls at him and will try and attack him. She even goes after me if he's in the room, but she's very loving and affectionate when it's just me.
We've tried catnip, feliway diffusers, more treats, everything we can think of and nothing is helping. She's becoming more and more aggressive by the day and it's driving me to tears. She's been to the vet and has a clean bill of health. I'm at a loss of what other steps I can take here. Has anyone dealt with this level of aggression before and been able to correct it? They said she was fine with other cats, but she's definitely not fine...
