My girlfriend and I have 3 dogs, a 2 year old samoyed, 10 month Pomeranian mix, and a small 3 month shih tzu. We got them in that order. And all of them we got at 8 weeks. The samoyed and the shih tzu are both significantly better behaved than the pom mix and my girlfriend is going nuts. She continues to break out of her cage on the daily while at work to chew something up, poop, pee, etc. I love all the dogs to death but my gf is insisting we rehome the pom due to truly bad behavior, and I don't want to. She says the puppy behaving better than the pom is proof that we aren't cut out for such a High energy dog and that she'd be better off with another family with different dynamic. I love the dog and am embarrassed to give her up after getting the third dog, but it's putting a major damper on our relationship. I think every dog can be trained but maybe despite my love for the dog she isn't a good fit for me. What should I do?
