My wife and I are getting out first dog. We're meeting him tonight, and he's been fostered through the place we're adopting him from. He's been on their site about a week, but I'm not sure how long he's been fostered or going by the name they list him as. We obviously want to give him our own name, is there a certain way to teach it to him? Or do we just refer to him as the new name and it'll eventually stick?
