So my snake had been sickly lately, and she refused to eat. I honestly knew it was coming soon... And today, I came home to find my precious Akai lying dead next to her water bowl in her favorite spot. Dad said she looked really sick yesterday but decided it was a good idea not to tell me... She was from Petsmart, so I should've expected this sooner. Petsmart has a bad rep with snakes, and the location I'm at isn't really pet friendly (the Petsmart workers here aren't very... endowed).
However, on the other hand, I now have Smokey, a little blue merle Pomeranian who loves to cuddle and climb up my arms, just like Akai did. It's a little scary how alike they seem, but it's sweet.
