Hi guys,
My parents have a cat who they adopted from an exclusively indoor environment. When he lived with my parents we introduced him into becoming an outdoor cat.
My parents recently moved and I looked after the cat for 3 months (exclusively indoor)
They have now taken him back and they are keeping him indoors whilst he gets used to their new home.
My question is can you make an outdoor cat an indoor cat without any detriment to the cat?
My parents are getting older and they're looking to retire which means they're gonna go take all the holidays they ever wanted.
I've already offered to look after the cat in these situations.
Long story short I miss the cat and I want to know if it's cruel to make an outdoor cat an indoor cat as I would take him for life but I feel bad because he's used to being outside and he would be 24/7 inside if he lived with me (I live in a flat)
