I have a predicament, here's the story. Perhaps you can tell me what I can do?
I went to a friends birthday party downtown at a bar, and had a good night. Towards the end of the night I was going to take a rideshare home when the a person said "Let me buy you a drink". It was a guy I knew from highschool, we started talking and he was way drunker than I was. He started talking about his insecurities at that age, to which I said "I feel you man, we all were like that". The conversation progressed and we started sharing pictures of our pets. He had a cute dog, and I had a cute kitten. He then said "Can we exchange numbers man, I want some pics of your cat, he is so cute." and I said "yeah sure thing". I did not send pics of my cat yet. After more conversation and draining our beers, he says "Listen man, I have a secret that I haven't told many people. It makes them hate me." At this point I'm quite nervous and say "What's up man?" and he said "I'm into bestiality, I was in love with my mom's cat in highschool and he helped me through a lot of hard times" and I said "..... Ah.. Well you're allowed to like what you like, but animals can't consent... so... as long as you're not acting on sexual impulses.." then he says "nah, nah, nah I would never do anything to (my cat), I would never do anything to a friends pet." That freaked me out.
That's the story. I told my friends and they were grossed out. Am I overreacting? Is there something or anything I should do for this dog? I believe I have no evidence and no ability to act on this. But it's sad to think the dog might be abused.
