My two 13+ year old cats came from the same litter so they obviously have been together their whole life until two months ago when I had to put one of them down. I knew that my other cat would miss his brother but ever since then he has been doing this caterwauling howl all the time. I feel like he does it because he wants to know where his brother is but I also feel like by now he should have figured out that he is not coming back. I've been told that he also does it a lot when I am not at home.
