My cat's breath is not great and I think it may be from the Greenies dental treats we're giving her (as recommended by the vet). I JUST got her teeth cleaned, so I dont want to take her in again if I can avoid it. I also don't want to stop giving them to her just to see what happens, because she likes them and I don't want to disrupt her longterm dental care plan. I was just curious if you've had similar experiences.
I vaguely recall giving one of my dogs Greenies during my childhood and his breath suddenly smelling like hot garbage, but I'm not certian because it's been so long. I'm also not seeing much online or in peer-reviewed veterinary journals about this particular side effect.
