We adopted a cat from the shelter and they estimated he was 2 months old at the time. Hes almost a year old now. Hes a good indoor cat, we got him to catch mice. We also have two 'outdoor' cats born and raised on the farm and catch mice outside (we also feed them if they want cat food). We also tried to make those cats our indoor cats but they weren't having it. Our indoor cat is kind of a dick to those cats who are quite older they're both at least 6 years old. Our indoor cat Milo, instantly starts hissing at them and being a jerk while they're both very chill (they don't see him as a threat at all). He has started dashing out of the house going under the house to antagonize the other cats. They also get along sometime we've seen them walking around together in the pasture. Anyway, when Milo runs out he runs from us and doesn't want to come back into the house until very late at night. I want him to be in the house, to stay clean and be my little house cat. I am also worried about him being killed by our coyotes and we have a bobcat around now. I need advice on how to keep him from running out of the house. Im not opposed to him going out every once in awhile. I just dont want him to be an outside cat.
